Alex Mowatt impressed for Leeds United in their 2-0 win against Derby County this weekend.
Leeds United striker Mirco Antenucci may have taken the headlines after his brace led to a 2-0 victory against Derby County on Saturday, but another member of Neil Redfearn's side had a game to remember.
Alex Mowatt is only 19 but he already looks a cut above the majority of midfield talent on show in England's second-tier, so it is no surprise he has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs.
With a long-term contract and under the tutelage of Redfearn there is no reason to think Mowatt will leave Elland Road when his dreams could be realised where he is; and on Saturday he continued to show just what a great young player he is.
Mowatt outshone his fellow Leeds midfielders with a 100 per cent on-target shooting accuracy, three tackles and seven effective clearances.
In short he played a vital role against the league leaders and his 81 per cent passing accuracy showed both his maturity and his confidence.

If Leeds do earn a place in the top-six this season - and it is certainly possible - Mowatt has a huge role to play and if he can stay fit and available there is every reason he could be one of the stars of the campaign.
When you consider what has happened at Elland Road this season it is testament to the players at the club that they are performing as well as they are, with Redfearn clearly the right man for the job.
The future looks bright for both him and for Mowatt, who would be wise to stick around to see if Leeds' next generation can fulfil their considerable promise.
