West Bromwich Albion boss Alan Irvine has said that Arsenal have an exceptional attacking power as he prepares his side to take on the Gunners at The Hawthorns today.
Arsene Wenger’s men go into the game on the back of an impressive victory over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, although their league form so far has been stuttering.
After 12 Premier League matches, the North London outfit currently lie in eighth place having lost their previous two games 2-1 to Swansea City and Manchester United.
Scoring goals hasn’t been an issue this season, and in summer signing Alexis Sanchez they have arguably the best player in England on current form.
The Chilean forward has scored eight goals and assisted a further two in 10 league starts, and with Danny Welbeck, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and others acting as a support act the Gunners certainly aren’t short on attacking options.
"Arsenal are a very good side. They are exceptional going forward, very creative, they pass and move very well,” he told the Baggies' official website.
"Anyone who saw their game against Manchester United will know that they could easily have won that game. And they had a good game in midweek against Dortmund.
"That was a hard midweek game for them but they are used to playing in the Premier League after Champions League games. I suspect they will be ready for the game at the weekend.
"Jack Wilshere is out for a while which is obviously a big blow for them. But we will face a very good team full of international players, regardless of what injuries they have.
