A select round-up of the latest news relating to Leeds United…

Leeds United welcome Derby County to Elland Road this weekend with Neil Redfearn’s side eager to put their defeat to Blackburn Rovers behind them.

In early team news, the BBC reports that Leeds have no fresh injury concerns and no players currently suspended, meaning Redfearn has some interesting choices to make.

Rodolph Austin and Giuseppe Bellusci could both return but who could miss out? Liam Cooper is perhaps the most likely to return to the bench although Redfearn’s young midfield could also get something of a re-jig.

In other news, Leeds legend Eddie Gray has called for the Whites to up their game in what is a tricky run of fixtures.

After the Championship leaders Leeds face the likes of Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest and Gray believes only wins will do.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, he said, “In the grand scheme of things we’re in a position where we need to win games to pull away from the bottom of the table…”

Leeds are more than capable of taking three points off the Rams, but they will need to tighten up after defensive lapses saw them suffer last weekend.
