The 49-year-old has explained how the Leeds strikers are key to getting the most out of the Brazilian.
Adryan is currently played in behind the two strikers by the Leeds boss and Redfearn is under no illusions as to how important the 20-year-old can be for the Yorkshire side this season.
But Redfearn admits the movement of strikers Antenucci and Doukara is key when it comes to allowing Adryan to do as much damage as he can in the final third.
“He’s more aware of where to go and where to receive the ball now. We need to get him in between the lines and shake him free," the 49-year-old told reporters.
“That’s down to other people’s movement. We’ve got to let him have that little bit of sugar and let him go and attack. If we do that then he’ll work the rest out – how to go past people, how to link in.
“The strikers’ movement when he gets free is important. If we can get Mirco and Souley down the sides of defenders then we’ll be dangerous. But Adryan’s done really well so far. His attitude’s good and he’s a driven boy.”
