The Gunners have always been a tough test for a side like the Baggies - but fans of the West Midlands club are growing tired of Alan Irvine nevertheless.
The reason, of course, is nothing to do with the fact that his West Brom side only just lost out to Arsene Wenger's men. It is more to do with Irvine's continued negative tactics and apparent lack of alternative ideas.
That's what plenty of supporters have been saying on Twitter after the 1-0 defeat earlier today, anyway...
Before the game, the Scot suggested that Arsenal have defensive weaknesses West Brom can exploit.
"They play in such an open and expansive way," the 56-year-old told reporters. "They get so many players forward. On the one hand that gives you a huge problem dealing with all those players because I can give you video clip after video clip where they have eight players in the final third.
"That only leaves three (in deeper positions) and one of them is a goalkeeper, so straight away you can see the difficulties they've got and how you can break out and hurt them."
Why, then, did Irvine not actually set out to exploit them?
His critics appear fed up and many Baggies fans are concluding that the Scot should never have been offered the job. Is Irvine's position under threat? Some supporters certainly think so...
