Tottenham Hotspur winger Erik Lamela has said that he is ‘ready’ for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Everton at White Hart Lane.
Earlier this evening, the Argentina international took to social networking site Twitter to post the following message:
Lamela, who joined Spurs from AS Roma in the summer of 2013 for a reported transfer fee of £30 million, is likely to start against the Toffees and will be a key player for the the hosts.
The 22-year-old endured a truly disappointing debut campaign for Spurs in 2013-14, but he has shown flashes of brilliance so far this term and is expected to raise his game as the season progresses.
In 12 Premier League appearances in 2014-15, Lamela has created 22 chances, has won 50% of his duels, and has a 81% pass accuracy.
Tottenham will head into Sunday’s match level on 17 points with Everton, who are a place above them due to a better goal difference.
