Benoit Assou-Ekotto reminded everyone he was still a Tottenham Hotspur player last night - but not by doing anything on the pitch.
The left-back, however, was at White Hart Lane, from where he was tweeting in the stands.
Assou-Ekotto has fallen well out of the first-team equation at Spurs but complications - mostly financial - have so far prevented him from leaving north London.
And such is the Cameroonian's non-existent role at Tottenham that one fan asked whether it was Assou-Ekotto that invaded the pitch during Spurs' Europa League tie with Partizan Belgrade (the pitch was invaded on three separate occasions before play was suspended).
He responded in typical BAE fashion, with the 30-year-old humorously informing followers and supporters that he was indeed at White Hart Lane... just not in the squad.
Ben Davies played at left-back for Mauricio Pochettino's side against Partizan, while Danny Rose has also often filled that slot this season.
The closest Assou-Ekotto has come, as his tweet suggests, is the stands...
