A round up of news stories this morning about Manchester United.
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has piled the praise onto former coach Mike Phelan.
Phelan was a main stay in and around the Manchester United squad as the assistant to the club’s greatest ever manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
“I’m delighted Phelan has made a return to football (at Norwich) - People don’t realise just how important Mike was at United. He took so much of the day-to-day pressure off Sir Alex,” wrote Scholes for the Standard.
Ashley Young has revealed that the Manchester United squad believe they can win the Premier League title.
United go into the game against Hull this weekend after a hard fought win in the difficult match at Arsenal last weekend.
“I think the manager has said obviously we want to break that top four. But you know players and staff at the club, we want to win the league title,” said the midfielder.
Radamel Falcao has become the latest Manchester United star to hand manager Louis van Gaal a fitness boost.
The Colombian striker has revealed that he is available for selection, confirming last weekend that he’d returned to first team training.
