The Forest summer signing has been in fine form since a move from Sheffield Wednesday in the summer, helping the side into promotion contention.
Antonio cost the Reds only £1.5 million, but he already looks worth at least treble that amount and Beagrie has paid tribute to the 24-year-old today.
"Stand up and take a bow Michail Antonio," Beagrie wrote in a question and answer session on Sky's website today. "The Forest flyer is torturing defences up and down the country with his lightning pace, power and directness embarrassing his opponents. Michail has been the standout performer in the Championship so far this season."
Antonio has contributed 10 goals in his first 20 games in a Forest shirt, which is remarkable total given he has not played the season as an out-and-out forward.
The London-born wide-man has proven a potent outlet for his side and his partnership with Britt Assombalonga has been the major reason behind Stuart Pearce's men success so far.
Although the Reds are not in the playoff places, as they would have hoped to be at this stage of the campaign, their season would have taken a different shape without their main attacking pair.
The duo have scored over two-thirds of the club's league goals to date this year and Pearce will delighted that his two marquee signings have settled in so well.
Antonio has taken the acclaim from Beagrie today, though, and he will be hoping to continue impressing him as the season progresses.
The powerhouse attacker's next chance to do this comes on Saturday when Forest take on Birmingham City, knowing that a win could put them back in the top-six.
