Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that Adel Taarabt will miss Saturday’s Premier League clash against Leicester City on Saturday.
The 25-year-old has made just two Premier League appearances so far this season and has not featured in any competition since October 5.
The Morocco international is reportedly suffering with weight issues, and Redknapp has stated that the former Tottenham Hotspur man will not be fit for the match against the Foxes.
Redknapp: "Adel still isn't fit. He's not training. He's not been out for a while. He's way off fitness still." #QPRvLEI— QPR FC (@QPRFC) November 27, 2014
Another QPR player who has been struggling with fitness issues is Rio Ferdinand. The former England international defender joined the London outfit in the summer transfer window and has made seven league appearances.
Redknapp has suggested that former Manchester United centre-back Ferdinand could play some minutes against Leicester.
QPR boss Rednapp has also remarked on the recovery of Sandro, who has been ruled out until the New Year with a knee injury.
QPR are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table with eight points from 12 matches, while Leicester are two points above them in 18th.
