Arsenal Oxlade-Chamberlain has spoken of the pride he feels at making 100 appearances for Arsenal.
Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has reacted on Instagram to making his 100th appearance for the club last night.
The 21-year-old starred for the Gunners during their 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League and he says that he was proud to have reached the landmark number of games for the club.
Posting on social media site Instagram, the attacking midfielder put up a picture of himself in action, with the caption: "Good performance from the boys last night and an important win for us. Proud to have made my 100th Arsenal appearance as well... Hopefully many more to come!"
Oxlade-Chamberlain is started to flourish into one of the finest English players and his talent was on full display during yesterday evening's fixture.
The Gunners had been dominated by Dortmund when they played them earlier in the season, but they were in complete control last night.
It was arguably Arsenal's best performance of the campaign to date and Oxlade-Chamberlain was a major reason behind their success.
His energy and directness was a constant threat to the Dortmund defence and he will be delighted to have made such an impact.
It could have been an even better night for the England international, too, if his spectacular long-distance volley had gone in rather than hitting the crossbar and rebounding away.
Even so, Oxlade-Chamberlain can have few regrets about his display or the result, which has given the team some much needed confidence.
Arsenal have made their worst league start for 32 years and they will be hoping for a dramatic improvement in the near future.
The Gunners take on West Bromwich Albion this weekend and Oxlade-Chamberlain will hoping to be similarly effectively on his 101st appearance.
