The Belgian midfielder has been discussing his thanks to fans for recent support.
If one player epitomised the downfall of Manchester United last season it would have to be Marouane Fellaini. The £27.5 million signing from Everton struggled for form and fitness under David Moyes at Old Trafford.
He was believed to be sub-standard and not suited to playing at this level, for many it appeared that Fellaini was an instant flop.
But in recent weeks the hearts of Manchester United fans have certainly thawed toward Fellaini.
The Belgian has put in some impressive performances since scoring the equalising goal against West Brom earlier in the month.
Fellaini's form has not gone unnoticed by fans and pundits alike, who have all been singing the praises of the misunderstood midfielder for his displays.
That turn in fortune has even seen him become admired, rather than ostracised by some fans - with the Fellaini wig back in fashion among the Manchester United faithful.
Fellaini, who took over the United Instagram account today, has expressed his joy at seeing such support in the crowd, stating:
“Ha, I like this! It was good to see some fans put on wigs. Thank you to the fans. I’m happy when I see that - it’s funny!”
The more quality performances he puts in, the more wigs that will inevitably pop up around Old Trafford in the coming weeks and months.
