The England midfielder is staying positive despite another blow.
Jack Wilshere has been ruled out for another three months.
But the Arsenal midfielder is staying positive. This is the latest in a long line of injury blows for the England man and the latest in a long ling of injuries for Arsene Wenger's side.
Wilshere, however, says you have to be 'strong ad courageous' and is happy to work hard and fight to regain fitness.
"Ankle needed surgery in the end, went well thanks to the main man James Calder! Work hard for what you want because it won't come to you without a fight," he wrote on social media site Instagram.
"You have to be strong and courageous and know that you can do anything you put your mind to. If somebody puts you down or criticises you, just keep on believing in yourself and turn it into something positive."
Wilshere's injury was sustained during his side's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend.
