BioWare reveals 57m characters made in Star Wars: The Old Republic

An infographic bursting with stats also shows over 4 billion NPCs killed and 1.7 billion PVP deaths.

As Star Wars: The Old Republic approaches its third anniversary and the arrival of its second major expansion, Shadow of Revan, a new infographic has been posted by BioWare revealing a number of hefty stats to illustrate the popularity for the Star Wars themed MMO.

Since launch over 57 million characters have been created with 17 million of them being Jedis and 1 million active players currently on the books.

Old Republic players have spent 635 million hours in the game, with the first player to reach level 50 taking a total of 60 hours to get there. Kills-wise 4 billion NPCs have met their end and 1.7 billion players have died in PVP.

Interestingly, the Infographic also illustrates that 104 hours of voice recording is used in the game, that’s eight times the length of all six Star Wars movies.

The Old Republic’s Shadow of Revan expansion enters early access from 2nd December with a full launch due on 9th December. Players will receive an increased level cap of 60, two new planets, two additional Operations and new Flashpoints.
