All the latest news and gossip from The Emirates this morning.

Lukas Podolski has been talking to German paper Bild about his future. The German international has made it clear that he is not currently happy at Arsenal, after being used sparingly over the past few seasons.

He maintains he wants to leave the club under the current circumstances and that he should be playing through the middle, not on the left:

"It is clear in any case. Something has to happen. It can not go on like this. I'll sit out my contract at Arsenal under any circumstances.

"There was for me, even in summer deals clubs already seem to be able to assess what a Lukas Podolski is worth to them.."

"Still I am at Arsenal under contract, nothing happened. I, too, must me now ask 'Is it perhaps me this I must now draw my conclusions?"

"Everyone knows that I'm not happy for some time, for example, I will use for years on the left flank, if the coach wants me there, I play that too but I know I've always had my strengths in the middle. Whether on the tens or as a false nine. If they would give me the chance, I could show my qualities. "

Podolski also confirmed that VfL Wolfsburg have been in touch with his representatives about a potential signature.

Arsenal defeated Borussia Dortmund yesterday in the Champions League 2-0, but the result was not all smiles.

Because their injury list again grew.

Mikel Arteta and Yaya Sanogo both let the game and look set for spells on the sidelines.
