Manchester City latest: Bayern’s surprise judgement of teenage Aguero

All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the Etihad…

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has praised his teammate Sergio Aguero following his hat-trick against Bayern Munich.

The Argentina international single-handedly kept the Blues’ Champions League hopes alive and in quotes published by ESPN, Nasri said, “He is one of the best players at the moment.

“Apart from Cristiano Ronaldo, who is on another planet, he is up there with Messi and Suarez. He always makes the difference and always delivers for us in difficult moments.”

Aguero now has 17 goals for the season and is in the form of his life just when City need him to be.

In other news, the Daily Mail reports that Bayern could have had Aguero on their books but then-manager Felix Magath allegedly thought the player was too lazy.

Then 17, Aguero had a price-tag of £17million and the German giants were reportedly reluctant to pay with Magath ultimately deciding the forward was too lazy and too expensive.

The rest, as they say, is history…
