Jurgen Klopp has defended Mesut Ozil from his critics.
Unlike several of his teammates, he won't have the opportunity to put matter right as he misses tonight's return game through a knee injury.
Quizzed about Arsenal's record signing ahead of the Champions League match, Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp gave him his backing, and suggested Ozil can't win either way.
He is quoted by Sport1: ""Nobody wants him, he plays.
"But they all miss him when he's not playing."
The main gripe with Ozil earlier this season, including the away game at Dortmund was not with his displays as such, more that he was being played out of position.
Shifted out wide, he was not given the best chance by Arsene Wenger to shine and failed to make a telling impact on games.
The 26-year-old had one goal and two assists in eight starts for Arsenal this season. He is not due back until Janaury.
