All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the KC Stadium…

Hull City star Robbie Brady has been looking ahead to the weekend fixture against Manchester United, when the Irish winger will return to his former club.

Should he feature for Steve Bruce’s side it will be the first time Brady has come up against United, and in comments published by the Hull Daily Mail he said, “I can’t wait.

“It’ll be great to go back there for the first time and hopefully we can get a result to make it all the better.”

Hull are not enjoying the best of times in the league right now but they have the players to do considerably better in the weeks and months ahead.

In other news, the same newspaper has published positive injury news regarding summer signing Mohamed Diame.

The paper reports that the former West Ham United midfielder should be back and available on Saturday after fears regarding his knee were allayed.

Given how well Diame has started life as a Hull player, that will be welcome news for Tigers boss Bruce.
