Much has been said and written about Christian Eriksen this season, with some saying the Tottenham Hotspur play-maker has been a shadow of his former self and others believing he has been one of the club's standout performers.
But on whichever side of the fence you reside, there is a key area in which Eriksen excels, that has a direct correlation to Spurs' struggles.
Eriksen has created the most chances without providing a single assist in the Premier League this season; that is 24 chances laid on a plate for a teammate and counting.
We have known for some time that Tottenham's front-line is not performing anywhere near its best, with Emmanuel Adebayor and Harry Kane scoring two goals apiece in the league and Roberto Soldado yet to get off the mark in that competition this season.
So for all the criticism heading the way of Eriksen, the simple fact is he is doing his job, but the players ahead of him are not doing theirs.
