Manchester United could be dealt another fitness blow, with Luke Shaw reported to be facing three weeks out with ankle ligament damage.
The left-back suffered the injury within the first 10 minutes of the 2-1 win at Arsenal on Saturday night, before being forced off soon after.
The Daily Mail report that he left the Emirates Stadium on crutches and wearing a protective boot, with the swelling and bruising since preventing him from undergoing a scan to reveal the extent of the damage.
Initial fears, however, are that the 21-year-old will be ruled out for at least a couple of weeks, adding another injury to the long list which has piled up during Louis van Gaal's short reign at Old Trafford - now 40 and counting.
There has been better news elsewhere, though, with fellow defender Marcos Rojo returning to Carrington on Tuesday to begin his recovery from a dislocated shoulder, while Johnny Evans is also set to feature for the reserves against Blackburn Rovers tonight.
