Leeds United have a good record at bringing through good young British talent and that has not changed, despite dropping down the divisions in recent times.
Currently one of their top young players is Alex Mowatt. He has had a decent month so far, which started with a bang against Charlton Athletic.
A central midfielder with an eye for goal, he could do worse then look up to current Manchester City loanee and Chelsea legend Frank Lampard for inspiration.
Lampard, who scored a record 211 goals during his time at Chelsea, was of course in action for his current club City in the Champions League last night.
Up against Bayern Munich he really did show the occasional flash of the old Lampard. And early on in the game the Leeds youngster sent this Tweet...
Lampard's still a boss— AlexMowatt (@alex_mowatt) November 25, 2014
Of course the relationship between Chelsea and Leeds is not great, the two sets of fans being arch enemies for many a year.
But if Mowatt goes on to follow in the footsteps, or gets even close to doing so, of Lampard's Chelsea record at Elland Road no Leeds fan would begrudge him looking up to the former England international.
