Celtic's Jason Denayer is wary of the clash with Red Bull Salzburg.
Celtic defender Jason Denayer says he is pushing for full fitness ahead of this week's Europa League clash, and knows if he makes it, he will be in for a tough test.
The Manchester City loanee spoke at a press conference earlier today, and talked highly of Red Bull Salzburg striker Jonatan Soriano.
Soriano scored against Celtic in the 2-2 draw in Austria, and Denayer was asked about him specifically.
JD on Salzburg striker Jonathan Soriano: "A very good player and a good opponent. He is the best one I have played against." #UEL (MH)— Celtic Football Club (@celticfc) November 25, 2014
He described the Spaniard as the best player he has played against, taking nothing for granted ahead of Thursday's match.
The 29-year-old has been in unbelievable form this season, scoring 28 goals in 26 games in all competitions for Salzburg, including five in four Europa League games.
Against Celtic last time out, he had three shots, all on target, and created four goalscoring opportunities, netting the late equaliser. How Denayer gets on against him this week will be another key test for the young Belgian.
