Namco Bandai and From Software announced the new version of the latest Dark Souls game.

Yes, you read that headline correctly. Dark Souls 2 is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One on 3rd April 2015 in Europe (7th April 2015 in the US) under the title of 'Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin'. The game will also be available on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin will be an enhanced version of the game including 'new challenges and deeper lore'. All three DLC packs released this year will be included with the new version of the game, along with brand new content too.

The new content will consist of an expanded story with extra in-game events and NPC characters, plus new enemies and gameplay improvements.

The PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions will come with improved graphics, of course.

For players who already own Dark Souls 2, there will be a large free update (ver.1.10) which will add in new features such as a new NPC to find, expanded story, new in-game events, improved balance, and online matchmaking functionality.
