Man City are one of the few undefeated teams still in the competition, and their academy squad are guaranteed to progress to the knock-out stages of the competition.
Unlike Manuel Pellegrini’s first-team, the Under-19’s have won all four of their games, scoring 12 goals and conceding four in the process. The defeated Bayern 4-1 when the side first met in Germany, and they will be looking for a repeat scoreline on Tuesday afternoon.
Bayern sit bottom of the group, with just one win and three defeats leaving them on three points, but a win in Manchester could leave them well set to achieve qualification, should Roma and CSKA Moscow draw in the other game in the group.
City have been helped in their quest for European glory by the goals of Jack Byrne, Thierry Ambrose and Jose Angel Pozo, with the trio scoring seven of their 12 goals this campaign.
