Deila hails Forrest
Celtic manager Ronny Deila has paid tribute to James Forrest's ability after the performance he put in against Dundee.
The winger has been out injured for much of the campaign so far, but is starting to get back to his best and his manager was understandably pleased with his display.
"On Saturday, I thought James was very good on the ball," Deila told the Scottish Evening Times.
"When he is alive like that, he is unbelievable."
Xavi hails Celtic support
Barcelona's Xaxi may have had a glistening career at the very top of the game, but Celtic fans have left an impression on him.
The experienced Spaniard has played against all of the European giants during his career, but his experiences of playing at Parkhead have been unforgettable.
“I don’t think I’ve seen anything like the Celtic fans in all the stadiums I have played,” Xavi is quoted as saying by the Daily Record.
“What makes them the best for me is their support when they lose. It’s easy to make noise when you win against Barcelona but in Spain we beat them 6-1 and most fans would have left the stadium.
“However, at the end the fans were making a noise like they had just won the Champions League, not like their team had just conceded six.”
Everton and Burnley want Macleod
Everton and Burnley are planning to make January moves for Rangers star Lewis Macleod, according to the Daily Mail.
The youngster has burst onto the scene this season and his remarkable form has not gone unnoticed by the Premier League duo.
