The Xbox One exclusive due out in 2015 has a couple of Hollywood's actors in its cast.

Remedy Entertainment's Quantum Break, which is an Xbox One-exclusive game due out in Spring 2015, has recruited Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings) and Shawn Ashmore (X-Men) into the cast.

The announcement came by way of a tweet last week in which the two actors can be seen dressed in mo-cap gear whilst on set in LA. There's been no announcement of who the actors will play, but we can't imagine they'd just be nameless extras in the background.

Quantum Break will tie in live-action video with the gameplay, so we imagine Ashmore and Monaghan will appear there too.

The game plays as a third-person cover shooter, set after a time travel experiment has gone wrong, so the player will be able to control time in combat and pull off some unique moves.

Quantum Break is the eighth game to come from developer Remedy. Previous games include Max Payne and Max Payne 2, and Alan Wake.
