Manchester City take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday with the Blues’ qualification hopes hanging by a thread.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are currently bottom of Group E having taken just two points from their first four matches.
Thankfully for the Blues both Roma and CSKA Moscow have just four points apiece but winning against Pep Guardiola’s side is going to be a tall order given their 100 per cent record in the competition this season.
City earned a much needed victory against Swansea City at the weekend but they welcome Bayern to the Etihad Stadium with some vital players missing through injury and both Fernandinho and Yaya Toure suspended.
Edin Dzeko, Aleksandar Kolarov and David Silva are all likely to be missing while neither Stevan Jovetic nor Sergio Aguero trained on Monday, although both should be back for the match.
Below we take a look at the players likely to take to the field for City later this week:
Predicted Manchester City starting line-up: Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy, Fernando, Milner, Navas, Nasri, Jovetic, Aguero
