Did Luke Varney headbutt Leeds whizkid Lewis Cook?
An image captured from Leeds United TV shows the Blackburn Rovers forward shoving his face into the 17-year-old's.
Varney played for Leeds previously and was only released this summer, and came back to haunt them this weekend.
Making only nine touches as a substitute, they proved to be crucial as he won a penalty in the contest at Ewood Park, going down claiming a foul by defender Sam Byram.
Jordan Rhodes converted it to cap a 2-1 win for Blackburn, with Leeds head coach Neil Redfearn arguing Varney dived to win the spot kick, with the travelling 7,000 fans outraged.
Now the above image may suggest Varney was lucky not to receive a red card for his altercation with Cook, although the FA could still take action retrospectively if it is brought to their attention in the referee's match report.
