Hull City latest: ‘Keeper makes loan move; coach not happy with under-18s

All the latest news, views and transfer rumours from the KC Stadium…

Hull City goalkeeper Joe Cracknell has joined Scarborough Athletic on loan until January according to the club’s official website.

The 20-year-old has been with the Tigers since he was just nine and has featured regularly for the club’s under-21 side while also making the bench for the senior team.

There are some quality ‘keepers ahead of him in the pecking order at the KC Stadium but it will be interesting to see if this loan move helps him ultimately break through for Steve Bruce’s men.

In other news, Hull’s Academy manager Tony Pennock has been talking ahead of the under-18s’ clash against Middlesbrough this evening.

Pennock was not happy with the side’s recent performance against Scunthorpe and speaking to the Hull Daily Mail he said, “What our boys need to realise is that if they’re lucky enough to have careers in this game, playing half a game is not good enough.”
