What Lord Sugar got wrong about Arsenal v Manchester United

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar first predicted Arsenal to win against Manchester United and then to stage a comeback in the Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Lord Sugar got it wrong about Arsenal yesterday, not once but twice.

The Gunners took on Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League and were backed by many to claim all three points from the encounter.

Lord Sugar was among those who predicted a win for Arsenal, going on to add that England international striker Danny Welbeck would score against his former club United.

However, as things panned out, it was United won the contest 2-1, with Welbeck struggling yet again.

The Red Devils took the lead on 56 minutes when Kieran Gibbs scored an own goal, and Wayne Rooney doubled the advantage with a wonderful chip in the 85th minute.

Although Olivier Giroud scored an injury-time goal, it was too little too late for Arsenal, but Lord Sugar predicted a comeback from Arsene Wenger’s side... which, of course, did not happen.
