West Ham lost 2-1 to Everton on Saturday, but some players took to Twitter to react.
In a bad tempered affair at Goodison Park, West Ham slipped to a 2-1 defeat against Everton.
The Toffees took the lead in the first half, but in controversial circumstances, as striker Romelu Lukaku turned Ross Barkley's deflected shot past Adrian, despite being a good yard or so offside.
Without the dynamic front three of Stewart Downing, Diafra Sakho and Enner Valencia, West Ham struggled to cause problems in the first half, but that all changed when Mauro Zarate was introduced from the substitutes bench.
Within five minutes of the Argentine's introduction, he'd brought the Hammers level with a deflected shot which looped over Tim Howard.
However, Everton did grab the winner as Leon Osman slid in to turn Samuel Eto'o's low cross into the net, sending West Ham back to East London empty handed.
West Ham slipped from fourth place down to sixth, but remain just one point outside the Champions League places after a superb start to the season.
Goalkeeper Adrian took to Twitter after the game to send a message to West Ham fans, telling them to focus on next weekend's home clash with in-form Newcastle United.
All we have to do now is focus on the next game in Upton Park Sólo nos queda seguir luchando para el siguiente partido en Upton Park! #COYI— Adrián San Miguel (@AdriSanMiguel) November 22, 2014
Meanwhile, striker Andy Carroll made his return to the starting line-up after a long spell on the sidelines, and whilst he didn't send any specific messages to the West Ham faithful, he did retweet this note from WhoScored.com - highlighting the target man's exceptional aerial presence.
Carroll will be hoping that he did enough to keep his place in the team ahead of the meeting with his former club Newcastle, but the anticipated return of Sakho and Valencia mean he may be relegated to the bench next weekend.
