Former Arsenal target Paul Pogba speaks about recent speculation

One of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger's favourite players has been speaking about the ongoing speculation surrounding his future.

Former Arsenal target Paul Pogba has been speaking about his future.

The French international currently plays for Juventus, the club he swapped Manchester United for back in 2012.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger recently admitted he had tried to sign his countryman when he was at Old Trafford, and the Gunners boss has previously stated his admiration for the young midfielder.

Earlier this year, in another interview with beIN SPORTS, the Arsenal manager hailed Pogba as “the best midfielder of tomorrow in the world” and there is no doubt he would love to have the 21-year-old at the Emirates Stadium.

But speaking after Juventus’s latest match in an interview later published by Football Italia, Pogba ruled out recent speculation linking him with a move away, this time specifically to Real Madrid.”

“I hope to stay here for a long time,” Pogba said. “It’s flattering to hear so much transfer speculation, but I play for Juve and I am happy to war the Bianconeri shirt.”

Pogba has already played a remarkable 102 matches for Juventus, scoring 18 goals and providing 18 assists in that time.

But as much as Arsenal could do with a player of his ability, it appears he is perfectly happy where he is.
