The Hull City boss was bitterly disappointed after Tottenham Hotspur came back from behind to beat his side 2-1 at the KC Stadium.
The Tigers, who led Tottenham Hotspur after former north London man Jake Livermore gave them the lead, missed several first-half chances before seeing Gaston Ramirez sent off for kicking out at Jan Vertonghen after the break.
Spurs capitalised on the one-man advantage and Harry Kane equalised after converting the rebound from Eriksen's free-kick (which hit the post).
The Dane completed the victory with a late winner but the Hull boss was bitterly disappointed with Ramirez's red card.
“The best referees, even in my day, had a little bit of common sense and that was just a flick, rather than a kick," Bruce told reporters after the game.
"But, by the letter of the law, it’s violent conduct. The reason people love the Premier League is its honesty and its integrity - but this play acting thing is creeping into our game and it’s very sad.”
Yet another disappointing result for Hull, however, ended in another successful away day for Tottenham. Mauricio Pochettino's men must prefer playing away from White Hart Lane - and they certainly didn't hold back with their celebrations. Here are the best photos from an eventful afternoon at the KC!
