Rickie Lambert has finally broken his duck for Liverpool in the Premier League.
The England international striker scored just two minutes into the Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
Former Southampton playmaker Adam Lallana was the creator of the goal. The England international picked out Lambert with a superb floated through-ball, and the 32-year-old slotted home with ease from inside the Palace penalty box.
It is Lambert’s first goal for the Reds in the league since moving to the Merseyside outfit from Southampton in the summer transfer window for a reported fee of £4 million.
Perhaps the floodgates will now open for Lambert...
