Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has hailed the spirit in the team following the 2-1 comeback victory over Hull City on Sunday.
The North London outfit were favourites to win the Premier League match at the KC Stadium, but they fell behind after just six minutes when former Spurs star Jake Livermore scored from 25 yards.
Hull looked like they could hold on for the win, but the sending-off of Gaston Ramirez at the start of the second half saw Tottenham gain the initiative.
Kane scored the equaliser just past the hour mark from close range, and Christian Eriksen found the winner deep into injury time with a superb strike.
The 21-year-old England Under-21 international has now explained just why Spurs could accomplish the comeback victory.
"@hkane28: It was a bit like Villa the way it panned out. We've got a great spirit here and dug deep when we needed to and got the result."— Tottenham Hotspur (@SpursOfficial) November 23, 2014
Tottenham are currently 10th in the Premier League table with 17 points from 12 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
