Gary Lineker has been singing the praises of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
The England international striker was on target yet again for Spurs, scoring the equaliser against Hull City at the KC Stadium on Sunday.
It was a simple toe-poke from Kane from just yards out after Christian Eriksen’s stunning free kick had come back off the frame of the Tigers’ goal.
Lineker was following the Premier League match and was appreciative of his compatriot’s goal, taking to social networking site Twitter to let his opinion known.
Harry Kane has a nose for goalscoring. He smells them. You either have it or you don't.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 23, 2014
Spain international striker Roberto Soldado also started the match against Hull, but once again the £26 million 2013 summer signing from Valencia failed to score.
Former Tottenham striker Lineker was unimpressed with Soldado and cracked a joke at his expense.
Soldado had it in Spain, but handed it in at customs on his arrival.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) November 23, 2014
Tottenham went on to win the match against 10-man Hull 2-1 and are currently 10th in the Premier League table with 17 points from 12 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.
