Leeds United were basking in hype and expectations when they took to the pitch at Ewood Park to take on Blackburn Rovers in the Championship on Saturday.
Despite being closer to the relegation zone than to the top six, the West Yorkshire outfit headed into the game high on confidence.
One of the players who was supposedly going to be key for Leeds against Blackburn was Adryan. Signed from Flamengo on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to provide the flair that many teams in the Championship lack.
Adryan has been in decent form and has shown his quality on a number of occasions, but overall his performances for Leeds so far this season have been largely mixed.
The pattern continued on Saturday as the Brazilian wonderkid gave a good account of himself but failed to go the extra mile, as shown by the stats below.

Adryan was on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes, but he struggled to make an impact in the second half.
One positive from the youngster’s display is that he played the entire match; it certainly shows that the Brazilian has found the fitness to last a full 90 minutes in the Championship.
Leeds fans held mixed views on the performance of Adryan, although Blackburn supporters seemed to have been impressed by the 20-year-old.
Adryan was stunning last night, same with doukara, mowatt and warnock. Silvestre still incredible, despite the mistake. #LUFC— Hazza (@Hazzykens) November 23, 2014
Man of match on bus Adryan. Better team performance must cut out these mistakes #lufc— Worksop Whites LUSC (@WorksopWhites) November 22, 2014
I know he went missing in the second half but Adryan is getting better and better every time I watch him. Solid part of the first XI. #lufc— LUFC Talk (@Talk_lufc) November 22, 2014
Adryan poor, Bianchi anonymous (again), Byram terrible... That aside still cant believe we havent won today, literally thrown away #lufc— Tom Hope (@hopey550) November 23, 2014
The way things have been recently, Adryan would be silly to sign permanently. 1 win in 10, and that was against Blackpool. #lufc— Rhys Baird (@RhysTBB) November 22, 2014
