Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea was in fine form against Arsenal.

Manchester United went into the top four after defeating Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.

A Kieran Gibbs own goal and a well taken finish from Wayne Rooney put United 2-0 up against the Gunners, and whilst a late Olivier Giroud strike gave Arsenal hope, United held on for the three points.

It's a huge result for Louis van Gaal, whose United start are going from strength to strength right now after a tough start to the campaign, and one player is excelling more than others.

Goalkeeper David De Gea came in for stern criticism immediately after his 2011 move from Atletico Madrid, but his naysayers of three years ago are very quiet right now.

De Gea has produced a number of fine displays already this season, and he was in his greatest form again as the Red Devils left North London with all three points.

The Spaniard make eight fine saves to keep Arsenal at bay, and his exceptional display was demonstrated when 86% of United fans voted that De Gea was the man of the match on the club's Twitter account.

Other's used their own accounts to praise their star goalkeeper, with many arguing that he has now overtaken Thibaut Courtois as the Premier League's top stopper.

However, some are still concerned over the prospect of De Gea leaving Old Trafford, with just 18 months left on his current contract - and Real Madrid lurking.

Regardless, here are some of the reactions from United fans after an outstanding display from De Gea.
