Chelsea fans react on Twitter to Oscar performance v West Brom

Oscar for Chelsea

Oscar was again superb as Chelsea won comfortably against West Brom.

Chelsea cantered to a 2-0 win against West Bromwich Albion earlier today, with early goals from Diego Costa and Eden Hazard securing victory. Once Claudio Yacob saw red for a ridiculous foul on Costa the game was dead and buried and Chelsea saw the game out, breaking little sweat in doing so.

Once again one player who stood out for Chelsea was the Brazilian midfielder Oscar.

Often under-rated at Chelsea he had the odd struggle last season but has started this campaign with real aplomb. Before the international break he won rave reviews for a performance against QPR and it was his stylish and often effortless play that truly made him stand out again.

He swung in a wonderful cross for the opening goal of the game. He also hit a sensational strike with the outside of his right boot which had to be well stopped by West Brom's man of the match Ben Foster.

It was the intricate little one touch passes, work rate tracking back and ability to evade his man that truly made him stand up above the rest once again.

He was then taking off to receive applause from the Chelsea faithful and get a rest ahead of Champions League football in the week.

Fans were once again in agreement on Twitter about his excellent performance as this unsung hero continues to steal the show.
