Blackburn Rovers Corry Evans, brother of Manchester United's Jonny, outshone Leeds United's highly rated young duo at Ewood Park.

The brother of Manchester United star Jonny Evans shone as Blackburn Rovers fought back to defeat Leeds United.

Corry Evans was a key man in Rovers midfield, outshining much touted Leeds teenagers Alex Mowatt and Lewis Cook.

Evans had a lower pass completion rate, but had significantly more touches of the ball, and outclassed the duo in key defensive areas.

The Northern Irish international won more tackles, interceptions, and headers than the Leeds pair combined.

Mowatt and Cook have been superb in recent weeks and the acclaim has been deserved, but on this occasion they were outshone by a player who is emerging as one of the key figures in the Blackburn Rovers team.
