Leeds United are one of the biggest clubs in England and had almost 7000 fans cheering them on against Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in the Championship on Saturday.
However, on the pitch the players failed as they went down 2-1 to the hosts, who ended the game with 10 men.
Souleymane Doukara put Leeds in the lead on 33 minutes and it stayed 1-0 to the West Yorkshire outfit until half time.
Gary Bowyer’s side stepped up their game in the second half and launched a successful comeback to pick up all three points.
Jordan Rhodes equalised in the 71st minute, but just 10 minutes later Rovers went down to 10 men due to the sending-off of Tom Cairney.
However, it was Blackburn who scored the game’s third and final goal, and it came two minutes from full time.
Sam Byram brought down Luke Varney inside the Leeds penalty box, and Rhodes slotted home the penalty with ease.
Blackburn fans were understandably overjoyed with the win which lifts into the team in the top four of the Championship table.
