Northampton Town yesterday confirmed they had rejected a transfer bid from a Championship side for young forward Ivan Toney.
They did not name the club interested in the impressive 18-year-old.

Late in the evening, SkySports confirmed the unnamed side was Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Toney has a contract with the League Two side taking him up until 2016. He has scored six goals in 21 appearances in all competitions for Northampton this season.
Wolves have been trying to reinforce their forward options of late, taking a chance on Hull's Yannick Sagbo in a loan which did not work out, before bringing in Danny Graham from Sunderland.
