Newcastle have been linked with signing Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Talented Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is the talk of Europe, continuing to impress for Anderlecht.
His last minute header at The Emirates broke Arsenal hearts by clinching a 3-3 draw for his side, his eighth goal in 18 games this season.
The 20-year-old was linked this week by The Telegraph with a transfer to Newcastle, described as the club's priority addition.
Also linked to AC Milan, his agent has been commenting on the interest in his client, but isn't giving anything away about a January transfer.
Nenad Jestrovic told Calciomercato: "It's hard to leave Anderlecht in the January transfer market, he probably will go away in June.
"And he is ready for a big club, he will prove it. I think he is the best young striker in circulation. I heard the interest of AC Milan, but there were no contacts. We will go where there is a serious offer and he is important."
AC Milan are a huge deal for any aspiring striker, but they do not have Champions League football on offer.
Newcastle will still feel they have a shot of landing him, if they can promise him regular football then it will be key to his development. Mitrovic is highly regarded, but he's also not at the level where he can walk into sides of the likes of Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.
Newcastle could be the perfect step for him, if they show the promising striker just how much they want him.
