Pochettino reveals when Walker & Bentaleb could return for Spurs

The Tottenham Hotspur boss has earmarked comebacks for the duo.

Mauricio Pochettino says full-back Kyle Walker and midfielder Nabil Bentaleb are 'getting better' and could return to first-team action within the next few weeks.

The duo are not yet fit enough to feature against Hull City in the Premier League this weekend, although Pochettino is optimistic the Spurs duo will play again in the near future.

Bentaleb could soon return to Tottenham training, while Walker has been improving quickly in recent weeks.

And the pair's availability cannot come soon enough for their Argentine manager, who has seen players struggle both in central midfield and at right-back so far this season.

“We have another training session tomorrow to review and test some players and then we will decide the squad that travels to Hull,” Pochettino told Tottenham's official website.

“Kyle is getting better and maybe if he follows in the same way it’s possible he might start to play again in the next few weeks.

“Nabil is the same as Kyle, getting better, not fully recovered yet but now looking to be involved in training.”
