Former Manchester United midfielder Phil Neville has been singing the praises of Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck.
England international Welbeck joined the Gunners from United in the summer transfer window for a reported transfer fee of £16 million.
Although the 23-year-old has scored just two goals in eight Premier League appearances for Arsenal, he has created 14 chances and has been worked exceptionally hard.
Neville believes that Welbeck has proved to be the best signing of the season so far in terms of value for money.
Welbeck was let go in the summer by United manager Louis van Gaal, who deemed the Englishman surplus to requirements.
Despite their recent injury problems, especially to summer signing Radamel Falcao, the Red Devils are not missing Welbeck too much.
United may not miss him in the future either, as they have a certain 18-year-old James Wilson, who, Neville believes, is the best young player at the Manchester outfit.
Wilson has been used sparingly so far this season for obvious reasons. In four Premier League appearances, the teenager has scored no goals or created any chances, while winning 44% of his duels and having a 68% pass accuracy.
