Leeds United striker Billy Sharp seems to be in good spirits ahead of tomorrow’s Championship clash against Blackburn Rovers away from home.
The 28-year-old summer signing from Southampton returned to full training with the Whites this week and is available for the clash at Ewood Park.
Sharp had been suffering with injuries lately, but he seems to have regained full fitness and his spirits over the international break.
On Friday morning, the former Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers star took to social networking site Twitter to express his delight at recovering from injury.
Despite Sharp’s return to fitness, he is unlikely to earn a place in Leeds’s starting line-up against Blackburn.
Leeds manager Neil Redfearn is probably going to go with Mirco Antenucci and Souleymane Doukara up front, meaning that Sharp will have to be satisfied with a place on the substitutes’ bench.
