Leeds United head to Ewood Park on Saturday to take on Blackburn Rovers in a match both sides will be desperate to win.
Gary Bowyer’s team is currently seventh in the Championship, just one point outside the play-off places with 17 matches played. They are also just five points off league leaders Derby County and Rovers will know how vital every single point is in the race for promotion.
As for Leeds, they are currently 15th in the table, but big things are expected of Neil Redfearn’s side following the international break, with a renewed (or should that be rediscovered) confidence following the permanent appointment of the former Academy coach.
Leeds have a long way to go before they are back in the top six, but Redfearn is likely to see Saturday’s match as the first chance to prove his young side has what it takes to challenge in what remains a long campaign.
So who is he likely to pick to start against Blackburn?
Rodolph Austin is unlikely to start following his exploits with Jamaica while Giuseppe Bellusci should return following his suspension, despite Liam Cooper's goal-scoring performance against Blackpool last time out.
Some positions take care of themselves while others are up for debate, but below is the starting XI Leeds are likely to go with this weekend.
Leeds United starting XI: Silvestri, Byram, Pearce, Bellusci, Warnock, Cook, Bianchi, Mowatt, Adryan, Doukara, Antenucci
