Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says footballers can learn from Novak Djokovic and co

Jose Mourinho has been discussing his recent meeting with Novak Djokovic.

Football can certainly learn a lot from other sports, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has now been revealing just that - discussing his love of tennis, including that of the best player in the world.

Mourinho has been revealing his admiration for Novak Djokovic. The world number one tennis player was recently watched by the Chelsea boss at the ATP World Tour finals in London - which Djokovic went on to win.

Djokovic, who is a fan of Chelsea, has made his support for the club clear in the past - especially because of his Serbian countrymen Nemanja Matic and Branislav Ivanovic currently plying their trade for Chelsea.

Mourinho believes that footballers can learn a lot from tennis players, explaining his admiration for the sport in quotes highlighted by Portuguese press A Bola.

Mourinho said of Djokovic:

"It is an amazing sport, footballers have much more to learn from them. A man alone in court , with all the responsibility on the shoulders ... They are great champions. As a football coach I learn a lot from them.

"I have a passion and respect so great at tennis you want should tie, which is not possible. I was probably the proudest man when Djokovic shook my hand."

Chelsea are currently in great form and Mourinho will hope that his team can become the world's best in football, just as Djokovic is in tennis.
