It is no secret that Arsenal reportedly want Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The German World Cup winner starred in Brazil this summer, putting his injury troubles behind him to put in an excellent display.
His contract at Real Madrid expires next summer which has seen many people link him with moves across the continent, including Arsenal.
Khedira is available to talk to any foreign team from January over a free transfer in the upcoming summer. With no new deal at Real currently in sight, he looks set for the exit.
Carlo Ancelotti would like to keep hold of him, but reports in Spain today have suggested that Florentino Perez has blocked a new deal for the player, as they aim to trim their massive wage-bill.
That news will no doubt have Arsenal on alert - even if Khedira confirmed that he had no desire to leave Real, especially in the January Transfer Window.
He is certainly going nowhere in the winter. Luka Modric has suffered a thigh injury meaning Khedira is back in favour, but Arsenal could still approach him about a move, for free, in the summer.
Well, not according to Spanish radio station El Larguero, who say that Khedira is off home to Germany with champions Bayern Munich.
As reported in Diario AS Khedira has reportedly agreed in principle a deal with Bayern Munich to join in the summer on a Bosman transfer.
Pep Guardiola is a fan of the player after facing him on numerous occasions whilst Barcelona boss and he is ready to bring him in from under the nose of Arsenal and any Premier League team also keen on his services.
