Queens Park Rangers midfielder Sandro has been talking about how his side are different to the one that kicked off the season.
The Brazilian arrived at Loftus Road in a £10million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur, but as yet he has failed to justify that price-tag.
QPR are struggling in 19th place in the Premier League, having taken just eight points from their first 11 matches. But Sandro believes they have turned a corner and that will soon be seen on the pitch.
In an interview with the club’s official website, the 25-year-old said, “We are a different team now. The way we play now, everyone understands what their team-mate wants. It’s very nice to play this way.”
Sandro has made seven appearances for Harry Redknapp’s side so far, with the club winning just once in that time, but the player believes he will rediscover his best form.
“I believe I will find my level again with QPR,” he said. “I am doing good at the moment but I will improve.”
Redknapp will certainly hope so, because at his best Sandro is a very impressive midfielder who has what it takes to lead QPR up the table.
The club now have a run of matches they will be quietly confident of taking some points from, with an away match against Newcastle United followed by games against Leicester City, Swansea City and Burnley.
